For anyone who ever played the Ultima games by Richard Garriott like I did, you would now start to remember exactly what a Mimic is.

In the small amount of time I had to make this game, including art, I decided I wanted to pay homage to what I consider the most influential game for myself. The countless hours I spent playing the Ultima series of games brought me great joy and it is my intention to one day do a game along this vein for others to play.

Though this is not a full-length RPG, I crafted it in a way to hopefully bring back some memories for people and would love to build on this one day.

Being a denizen of the dungeons below the surface can be pretty fun. An endless supply of overly-motivated adventurers bungling their way in search of fame, riches and a notion of accomplishment by doing the dirty work of careless quest-givers.

It is little wonder why an aspiring "bad guy" like yourself would be forced to come to the surface when the threat of no more adventurers come to light. That king is just messing with you by closing off the dungeons and has forced your hand. Through the unique skills of assuming identity you intend to work you way up the food chain and conquor this king! And since you are going to then be the king, the next bit of fun will be to dispense some of the most rediculous quests you can think up and just see how gullible these adventurers really are!

Meet the enemies!

You! Well, the way you start out at least.. looks like a chest to everyone else, the easiest way to trick a likely treasure-seeker is to look like a treasure chest.
The King. The toughest guy in this place and the one you intend to knock off.
Rat. Yep, no RPG would not be complete with these annoying little buggers. Pretty weak but attacks fast and highly annoying might be good to start off with but certainly no match for the king.
Pixie. Not real tough but fierce. These guys are really weak but also quite hard to hit with such high dexterity.
Orcs. Another staple of any fantasy world is the green-skinned thugs known as orcs. No surprises here, tough but not real smart.
Wizard. Old bearded bad-guys that hang out with skeletons.
Skeleton. Undead that seem to hang out with wizards, not too strong but since they can often be found in groups and with a wizard, best to be careful on how you take these down.
Adventurers. Adventuring has been a bit slow since they closed the dungeons, so quite a few people are out and about seeking adventure on the surface. Pretty handy in a fight these guys so plan well.
Trolls. Big, tough and strong. Make up your own mind on these brutes.
